Billy Don Loper is a writer and native Mississippian who runs the gambit on genre but tells stories, primarily, about Mississippi. He received his BA and MA in History from the University of Southern Mississippi with a focus on Mississippi Cultural History. He utilizes that background to write about the dark and hidden aspects of life in small town Mississippi and infusing science fiction, fantasy, and horror with the culture and history of the American South.
